We had family over to our house yesterday. Uncle Perry brought his "kitty cat" snowmobile for Micah to drive. He had an awesome time! He must have gone 200+ times around that little track in our backyard. What a great time!

Merry Christmas!
Dear Family and Friends,Greetings! We are thrilled to be celebrating Jesus’ Birth, as well as enjoying the festivities taking place this time of year. There have certainly been a lot of changes since we last communicated. Let me take a moment to catch you up on the happenings of our family.
First of all, we welcomed Caleb Daniel into our family on January 24th of this year. We did not know what our third child would be, so it was a delightful surprise to add a 3rd boy to our troop. He is a calm, quiet, yet active boy. He is my most laid back child. What a blessing to have an “easy” baby amidst the controlled chaos around our place. He is nearly 11 months old and is crawling everywhere, as well as walking along furniture.
Benjamin is 2 ½ years old and is the exclamation point in our family. There is never a dull moment with that boy. He is always on the move and can be found most days getting into something or somewhere that he is not supposed to be. He keeps us laughing and quite entertained. Ben carries a glint in his eyes for mischief, but he also knows how to give lots of hugs and kisses to his mamma and grandmas. He loves to play with playdough, blocks, cars, trains and enjoys being read to by a willing reader.
Micah, our oldest, is 4 ½ years old now. He and Ben make quite the duo together. Micah often thinks out the plan and then tries to get Ben to carry it through. Sometimes it works great (i.e. building a fort), but most times it is trouble! Needless to say, our boys are a joy. Micah loves attending AWANA (a kids’ club where they learn about the Bible and memorize Scripture) every Wednesday evening. He also loves to draw and color. Micah also enjoys playing with his trucks, tractors, climbing trees, riding bike, and being read to from “The Sugar Creek Gang” books. He also loves to help his dad or grandpas with projects around the house or shop.
The biggest change happening in our family has been a job change and move for our family of five. In June of 2008 Tim took a position as process engineer with Nestle in St. Louis Park. During that transition time we lived with Tim’s parents from September of ’08 to August ’09. We look fondly on that time as an opportunity for our kids to get to know their grandparents better and for them to know our kids better. For me, it was a delight to share cooking duty with Mom Bailey and to have help with two active boys while caring for a little baby.
On May 20, 2009 our house in FF sold after 11 months of it being on the market! The Lord was truly faithful during this time of change and uncertainty. Then in August we moved into our current home located in the northwest metro area. The boys have a lot of room to play, explore and grow up. Tim and I are enjoying being a family of five.
I continue to be a stay-at-home mom full time, which is my favorite job of all! In addition, I work as an RN one shift a week at a small town hospital in their Extended Care and Rehab Facility. It gives me an opportunity to keep up my nursing skills as well as get out of the house from time to time.
We are truly blessed and thankful to the Lord for ALL He has provided. May the Lord bless you and keep you this Christmas Season and coming New Year.
Love,
Tim, Krista, Micah, Benjamin, and Caleb Bailey

Where has the time gone? I realized it has been a very looooong time since I last posted. Just wanted to let you all know, we're doing great! We are settling nicely into our cozy house and as you can see our boys are getting bigger and bigger. Ben is nearly 2 1/2 he is full of energy and his vocaublary is changing every day. He follows his big brother Micah wherever he goes and loves to play with little brother Caleb. Caleb is 8 1/2 months old now. He sits up, rolls over, scoots back, reaches for almost anything. He smiles and coos and sometimes is able to get a word in edge wise even though he is the youngest. Of the two, I think he will be my shy boy because he does not always smile when a stranger comes up to him (unlike the older two). Caleb is very even tempered and is a wonderfully mello boy. When he fusses, you know something is just not right. Micah is nearly 4. He is a sponge these days. Picking up new words. Asking lots of questions. He loves to work on his preschool book in the afternoons with me. He of course loves it when company is coming and better yet if they are going to stay over night.Tim and I are doing well. I just had a Tupperware party here at my house. It was a lot of fun having people over to my new house and to entertain. Not to mention the free Tupperware coming my way. Fun, fun! Tim's job is going well. Thankfully, he has not had to travel out of the country since his other job. Yeah for us! Happy Fall (er maybe winter for those of us experiencing a "winter wonderland").
Blessings,
Krista and family

Summer Fun
Ben and Alise basking in the sun. Ben insisted that Alise put her feet in a particular way as seen in this picture. Again, he enjoys feet!Saturday, July 25, 2009
Beautiful Feet
Cousin Barb and family were over for dinner one evening. She had just come back from Brazil where they give wonderful pedicures (for a decent price too)! Our Ben was quite taken with her beautiful feet. He could not stop looking at them and touching the designs on her toes. Hmmm, it seems like mommy should paint her toes more often. I might have to teach him how to do pedicures on MY feet someday. What a silly boy!
