We have an "8" year old in the House!

Happy 8th Birthday to my son, Micah, who gave me the best gift ever...motherhood! He is kind and sweet, smiley and caring and has a heart for the Lord.
WE love you, Micah Man!

"Springing" into action!

On April 17th, Micah, Ben and Caleb had their last Awana for the year. Micah completed all three years of Sparks, Ben completed his first year of Sparks and Caleb completed and LOVED Cubbies! Hannah was an honorary Cubbie girl as she went where mom went most of the evenings. So proud of my kiddos and their great job of learning verses!
On May 1st, Ben turned 6 years old! He asked for a "garden cake" this year.
May 2nd, we had a crazy spring....where 12+  inches of snow was dropped on our place and surrounding area. Here Ben is asking"What? We really are having winter again? The day AFTER my birthday?"
May 7th we went to Sea Life at the Mall of America with our great friends, The Rekstads
Great-Grandma Klodt visited us the week of May 12th for 5 days. She is 86 years old!

Grandma wanted our family to have a pear tree so she bought this for us. She also wants to come back and visit when it gives forth its fruit.
Ben decided to buy a honeycrsip apple tree as well with some of his birthday money.
Micah completed his first year of piano. Here he is pictured right after his recital on May 18th with Grandma Bailey...his piano teacher. He played, "Oh When the Saints, Go Marching In." He did a fantastic job!
