ITS A BOY!
On Saturday, January 24th Caleb Daniel Bailey was born to our family at 6:33 a.m. He is so precious and we're so thankful for his "happy" addition to our family. Here are a few pictures of Caleb joining our lively bunch.
The Bailey Three!
(Micah, Caleb and Ben)
NOTE: Congratulations to my friend Jennifer K. up there in Fergus Falls in the GUESS THE BABY contest. She was accurate when she said we'd have a boy on January 24th. Way to go, my friend!

Still hanging out!
Well, this is my DUE DATE today. Nothing is going on. I guess I am playing the "waiting game" now. That is so hard, but well worth it in the end! Today the kids and I are going to run some errands (maybe quite literally) and go to the local YMCA to see if I can walk, walk, walk this baby into labor. Other than that I'm still just hanging out there ready to pop. The next time I write, I'll be letting you know when Baby #3 arrives. Whoohoo! Happy Day!
Hope your day is filled with fun and excitement.

Waiting
Well people, there is nothing too much going on. I'm sure those who predicted the baby to have come by now are a bit disappointed. Me too. So, we're still in the "waiting mode."
For those living outside of MN it is 20 below outside. Brrrrr! Tim's car wouldn't start this morning so he took my vehicle so the kids and I are hanging out INSIDE for the day. Maybe we'll make a fort or something. :)
At my last OB appointment on Tuesday there was nothing going on when the midwife checked me. I measured good, heart beat was in the 130s. That's about all! I wish I could report more but for some reason my body does it all at the very end. What a deal.
There's still time to make your prediction for my "Guess the Baby" contest. Go ahead and leave a "comment."
Hope you have a very fun and warm day!

GUESS THE BABY!

Today marks the day that I am 38 weeks along (Due date January 20th). Hooray! I'm so ready to meet this little one. Thankfully, all my checkups have gone well and we shall see what his or hers actual birth day will be. Looking forward to meeting you baby Bailey!
As a way to make this a fun game, please post your vote in the comment section of WHEN you think baby Bailey will arrive, the GENDER, WEIGHT and LENGTH. If you don't have a login, just click "Anonymous" and sign your name there so I know who you are. It will be interesting to see who comes the closest. :)
Happy NEW YEAR to you all!
Note: Micah came on his due date and Benjamin was 4 days early

Baby # 3 Update...
Yesterday I had my 37 week baby checkup. I should begin by saying that last week's appointment was a bit nerve racking because when the doctor felt my tummy and did an internal exam, baby's head was NOT down. So, it was confirmed with an ultrasound that baby was indeed laying sideways. So, for the past week I've been "hanging" per se where my hips have been higher than my shoulders on average one time per day for 10 minutes. Well, yesterday's appointment was wonderful news in that the baby's head was down. Hooray! So, I have about 3 weeks left to go, give or take. I'm praying he or she comes on or before the due date. That way we don't have to talk "options" as the doctor put it. Since I am a VBACer (vaginal birth after cesarean) they are extra cautious. If all goes well, I'm hoping my midwife can deliver this baby. It is all in the Lord's hands. So, baby is doing great! Heartbeat is around 130s-140s. Hmmm, that is where both Micah and Ben had been. Might this be a boy? All I can say is that as the due date approaches I get more and more excited! Happy New Year to you all.

BAILEY UPDATE
The last few weeks have flown! I thought I would take this time to update you on what has been going on at the Bailey house. I have NOT sent out a Christmas letter simply because I'm waiting for baby #3 to make his/her appearance and THEN I'd like to send out a note/picture. So, be looking for that the beginning of February, I hope. :) Okay, now for the update!
Our house has NOT sold yet. There have been showings on the place, but no offers. We continue to hope and pray that someone will come along VERY soon. We were just up at our place this past weekend and enjoyed our time in the house, sleeping in our own beds and being together as a family of four. January would be a lovely month to have our house sold, don't you think? :)
As of Tuesday, I will be 37 weeks along in my pregnancy. So far so good. Baby is active and as I get further in my pregnancy it has been harder to sleep and get around. Especially chasing after my littlest boy Ben who keeps me moving. At nearly 20 months of age, Ben is certainly curious and quite daring at times. Micah is very excited to meet his new baby brother or sister. Micah is full of constant chatter, lots of questions, and likes to keep his brother Ben in line. What a combination!
Tim's job at Nestle is going well. We are so thankful that he has a job especially during these hard economic times. He has been working there for 6 months now.
I have completed my time at the local hospital. I put in my resignation the middle of this month so my next step is to get ready for our littlest addition. Although I enjoyed my job in FF, I'm happy to be moving on and to see where God leads us. That is ultimately what Tim and I are learning the past 6 months or more is about placing our trust, plans and dreams in our Heavenly Father's hand. God is good!
