Done Deal!

Well people, we have done it! We are now resident's of the great state of Wisconsin (a.k.a Cheese Head, Dairy Land, Packer Land).

We've signed the papers on our new place and we are now proud owners of a lovely ranch style home on 40-acres. It is beautiful! I hope to post more pictures by the end of July as we are now amidst cleaning, painting and our stuff coming out of storage tomorrow. Phew! It is a whirlwind.

I do have a picture that I took a couple months ago when we were having the place inspected. Here's a "sneak peak" of our new home.

Summer Update & Fun

It has been way too long since I have posted anything recently. Life is lovely.....and crazy. The biggest news is that we sold our lovely place in the northwestern Twin Cities. We are MOVING to WI. I'll post pictures of our new place after we close on it mid-July. Here are a few pictures of things we have been up to the last month or so. Enjoy!

Awana Awards Night

 Ben completed his 2nd book of Cubbies. He now will move on to Sparks. Way to go Ben!

Micah completed his 2nd book of Sparks along with extra credit. He will move on to his last year of Sparks this fall. Way to go, Micah.

Ben's Day!

Happy 5th Birthday to this delightful, charming, funny, loving boy who lights up our life....every single day. We love you Ben Boy and our prayer is that you grow to love and serve the Lord in ALL that you do.

I love your zest for life and that you are READY for whatever should come next.  Ben got ready for church 2 days ago and I told him to be sure to have dress pants on and a nice shirt. He came out looking pretty good. So, we all pile in the Suburban to head to church. As we came home from church and Sunday School a few hours later, I notice that he has on an "extra layer" both top and bottom. This child had put on his play clothes underneath his Sunday best! Why, might you ask? So, he can quickly strip off the outer clothes and be ready to play as soon as he gets home.
