My dad (the birthday boy) enjoying his malt too. He is 62 years young!Other things we enjoyed:
1. checking out the grandstand
2. watching the horses in the coliseum
3. Looking at the largest pig in MN (I believe nearly 1500#)
4. looking at the animals in sheep, pig and horse barns
5. checking out Heritage Square - Micah enjoyed the blacksmith and the log cabin and we all enjoyed hearing the yodeler Kerry Christensen
6. many miles of walking

Looks like great fun! Brent and I are heading there in a week, and I can hardly wait!!
I've been thinking about you a lot, wondering how these last weeks are going!
You look so cute, Krista! What a fun day out with Micah and Grandpa. I've never been to the State Fair yet, but I sure do love our little County Fair so much. Maybe next year I'll make it down there for the big one.
